Assoc Dir/Dir Natl Contracting

As the Associate Director/Director for National Contracting you will be responsible for directing the activities of the National Contracting team in negotiations, analysis, and decisions for our largest and most complex contracting customers, and those most likely to be referred to Contract Review and Strategic Pricing Committees. You will provide leadership to the National Contracting team in the negotiation with internal and external customers in order to produce optimal, mutually beneficial contracts. You will assure that contract pricing and proposals are appropriate for each account based on an assessment of that account and that through collaboration with the CAFA team, contract proposals are profitable. The Associate Director/Director of National Contracting conducts and participates in several planning meetings, such as Staff Meetings, Contract Review Meetings, Brand Contract Strategy Meetings, Strategic Pricing Committee, Ad Hoc Meetings, etc., in order to contribute to policy changes by the Strategic Pricings Committees. In such endeavors, the Associate Director/Director of National Contracting contributes to planning for the structure and functioning of Contract Development and Administration, as well as to pricing and contracting policies. You will carry out other assignments as directed by the Sr. Director of Contracting.

This position requires a Bachelor?s Degree, MBA or Masters preferred. Product, sales, negotiation skills, pricing analysis, financial analysis, leadership, compliance, legal, human resources, personal development, management, and motivational knowledge are required for this position. A minimum of 6+ years of relevant business experience is required, which should include two years of Management experience and three years of Contract Manager/Specialist experience. Pharmaceutical sales experience a plus.
