Job Description


Oversee the development and execution of brand or portfolio related activities. Analyze, develop, and implement annual marketing plans and contribute to the strategic plan development. Manage marketing budgets in order to reach volume and profit targets. Develop, coordinate, and manage communication to key stakeholders (customers and senior management) on brand programming and successes.

Responsibilities


Analysis - Responsible for on-going analysis supporting portfolio team. Provide continuous analysis of both external and internal data sources for the emerging consumer segments/trends. Provide point of view with business implications to Manager. Provide timely and comprehensive analysis of all programs related to area of responsibility. Provide manager with point of view on achievement of objectives, execution, and future planning implications.

Project Management - Lead day-to-day execution of assigned brand/portfolio programs. Take leadership role in assigned projects providing clear direction to all resources/team members. Develop detailed creative briefs to serve as direction to marketing resources and agencies. Participate in all aspects of assigned programs including advertising, point of sale, local programs, packaging and creative development. Provide copy and support points for sell sheets. Serve as the key contact with other marketing resource team members to ensure execution excellence and adherence to deadlines and consistent use of trademark materials and brand communication.

Business Planning and Budgeting - Assist Manager in development of annual marketing plan. Provide business review inputs and recommendations for annual marketing plan Provide recommendation on participation in marketing opportunities Manage marketing budgets and contribute to the managing of the P& L in order to achieve OP and EP target objectives.

Customer Interface - Be key contact in coordinating all executional aspects of assigned programs. Coordinate activities with agencies, field and bottler personnel to decide upon market implementation approach, arrange product/materials delivery for in-market activities, research / report on local market conditions, and implement programs. Post evaluation of local programs/spend.

Presentations- Assist in the development of presentations, selling materials for all assigned programs.

Special Projects - Manage special projects as needed (e.g., market research projects, competitive sell stories). Take leadership role in project request from start to finish Manage expectations and timelines Provide feedback and input based on observations/knowledge of project.

Requirements


Education:4 year college degree - Business or marketing degree required, MBA preferred.

Experience:2+ years of consumer marketing experience in consumer packaged goods. Consumer beverage experience a plus. Strong analytical and computer skills (proficiency in all MS Office applications, Nielsen a plus) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work in team environment.

Required Skills/Abilities/Project Management:Fluent in Spanish Ability to manage program from start to finish include coordinating activities across multiple functional groups Ability to manage and work collaboratively in taskforce teams Proven ability to manage budget and pro-actively identify opportunities/issues Analysis:Ability to translate information from disparate sources into program implications and recommendation Consumer Savvy:Proven success translating consumer need/objective into programs Proven success in creative thinking and problem solving.
