Associate Brand Manager (Experienced)

Broad Function and Scope of the Position:
This Associate Brand Manager position will play a leading role in a) developing and commercializing a robust portfolio of new products and b) managing and developing businesses in our fastest-growing channels.

 

Principal Responsibilities:
? Lead cross-functional teams to commercialize new product concepts.  Act as lead project manager to oversee all aspects of product development and launch.
? Assist in development of our portfolio of new products.  Identify and validate concepts.  Coordinate innovation plans with broader organization.
? Manage day-to-day activities in our fastest-growing channels.  Forecast volume, manage trade spending, and make recommendations to insure volume and profit targets are met.
? Lead a cross-functional team to coordinate marketing activities in these channels.  Develop plans for new item introductions, implement packaging changes, etc.
? Assist organization in developing innovation capabilities.

 

Qualifications:
? 3-5 years relevant work experience, with a background in consumer packaged goods preferred
? MBA preferred; college degree required
? Interest in food and/or health & wellness a plus
? Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
? Demonstrated ability to juggle different responsibilities
? High degree of ownership and initiative 
? Excellent communication skills, especially with upper management
? Interest in both innovation and general management
? Comfortable working in a matrix organization
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
? Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
