Associate Conference & Event Manager

Ad Age Group, the leading publication covering advertising and marketing work across all creative disciplines including broadcast, print, interactive, radio, design, etc., is seeking an Associate Conference & Event Manager.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 

-Support Senior Conference Manager in planning and execution of The Ad Age Group

 events and conferences

-On-site execution of events

-Write event promotional materials including print ads, invitations, banner ads and e-mail

 blasts

-Work with art designer in creating promotional materials, signage, name badges, programs

 and awards

-Oversee all aspects of event attendance including online registration for each event and

 working with intern to manage the online registration process and list of attendees

-Work with vendors to order awards and premiums as needed

-Research and scout out venues and monitor competitive events

-Complete responsibility for Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards including creation of all promotional pieces, process/compile entries, budget management, coordinate judging dayand oversee the execution of awards gala.

 

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years event planning experience, excellent communication, writing/editing skills; planning and budgeting skills; should be highly organized, detail-oriented team player able to multitask and work under deadline pressure.
