Associate, Corporate Communications

Manpower International, which is the world's leading professional search firm, is currently seeking to hire three Associates, Corporate Communications for one of it's leading public relations clients.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain regular contact with clients; proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs.
- Build understanding and knowledge of the clients' business and their competitive environments.
- Actively participate/contribute to the development of account plans/ideas. Provide appropriate instruction to junior staff
- Participate in client meetings Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including client programs, press releases, byline articles, client correspondence and reports.
- Initiate implementation of media events, press conferences/briefings, media tours, etc.
- Develop media contacts; utilize them to produce results for clients .
- Under the strategic direction of senior management, act as the primary implementer of account plans.
- Assist senior management in developing proposals and gathering information for new business opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in public relations or similar position in an agency setting.
- Solid experience pitching the media (business, financial and consumer press)
-Excellent writing, presentation (written and verbal) skills and a strong work ethic
