Overview:
Based in New York, we are the leader in consumer health educational marketing looking for an experienced marketing/ PR professional to help launch several new and evolving integrated media brands and to provide trade PR support. The Associate Marketing Director position will be an integral part of a strategic team that creates, develops and executes materials and programs to drive awareness of the leadership position of our Point-of-Care print and online consumer health educational brands. In addition, this position will undertake all PR efforts to support our corporate and brand initiatives. Creative writing skills a must!!!

Responsibilites:
The primary responsibility of this position is to build recognition for each brand through cross media marketing tactics including print and online. This includes writing and creating sales collateral, media kits, trade ads, direct and online promotions, events/trade shows, and merchandising programs. PR support includes developing PR strategy, writing press releases, and pitching newsworthy stories to trade editors.

This position requires a strong knowledge of the DTC industry and proven integrated marketing experience, including: Strategic B2C writing skills, a solid understanding of positioning syndicated research data, and good design sense. Excellent supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
