Associate Marketing Manager-Skittles and Starburst

This role is responsible for driving development of brand initiatives that reflect current consumer insights, forecasts future trends and delivers business/financial requirements. This role leads execution of marketing programs designed to drive increased demand and loyalty. This person is also accountable for recommending programs and initiatives to fulfill long-term overall brand strategy. Responsible for delivering brand segment growth programs on budget and on timeline. Execution of the brand plans that support sales and share delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead execution of brand plans that support the growth and profit objectives. Recommend marketing programs that improve ROI on MAB. Responsible for executing activity set within budgetManage execution of product development against plans. Manage new product/line extension development within activity set processTrack and monitor brand health metrics and recommend corrective measures if necessarySupport the execution of the annual marketing programs. Manage promotions, and other marketing mix elements (e.g., packaging changes) through activity management process as requiredLeverage data attained from insights to execute consumer promotionsEstablish strong cross- functional team use of resourcesManage promotional agency execution on day-to-day basis and support advertising and other communications initiatives as appropriate






Key Skills Required:
BrandingBusiness analysis utilizing various toolsAnalytical skillsKnowledge ManagementDeveloping strategies and plansTrade and channel marketing





Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience in marketing with brand management experience in a consumer packaged goods company
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program in a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to travel 25% of the time

Successful completion of a drug and background screen


Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience in marketing with brand management experience in a consumer packaged goods company
Bachelor's degree, preferably with Marketing or Business Management focus

MBA preferred

Demonstrated success on one or more brands

Demonstrated success managing and executing key elements of brand plans including strategy, selling and executing

Demonstrated success in managing key projects through cross-functional team

Demonstrated success in management of key creative projects through external agency

 

Company-paid relocation is not available for this position.
