Associate, New Business Development

World 50 operates Marketing 50, a group for the top Chief Marketing Officers in the world, and Human Resource 50, a group for the world?s top Chief Human Resource Officers. Other similar groups are in development. Members of each group participate in world-class events and other forms of collaboration developed by World 50.

 

The position of Associate, New Business Development reports directly to the Director of Member Development and plays a critical role in the development and execution of the firm?s new business goals. This individual will support marketing programs, demand generation, lead pipeline management, reporting and analytics, and lead conversion. In conjunction with the firm?s managing directors, as well as the communications and operations departments, the successful candidate for this position will drive and/or support activities related to marketing and recruiting for existing and new World 50 executive groups while ensuring seamless interdepartmental collaboration on prospect/member touch points.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Communication with World 50 business partners, prospective members and/or their executive assistants via phone, email, etc. to promote membership Proactively seek out candidates for membership within World 50 peer groups through ongoing industry research, profiling tools, and latest press announcements Thoroughly research all partner nominations to determine the best candidates for membership ? taking into consideration: competitive landscape, company size & reputation, global presence, and personal member contributions Promote and track all member development events and regional dinners through mailings, e-invites, and calls Creation/preparation of all recruiting reports Utilize familiarity with recruiting needs to aid in development of company collateral and public relations initiatives Create and maintain seamless customer interface between member development and member services departments Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and templates for various recruiting activities Fully utilize CRM to track and manage sales pipeline and activities

 

Requirements: BS degree in Business, Communications or Marketing Minimum of 3+ years of sales and/or sales support experience Superior writing and proofreading skills. Must possess the ability to write and edit text to appropriately and proactively anticipate the needs of the audience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills Ability to read, analyze, interpret and restate technical and business information for various audiences Outstanding project management, scheduling and research skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Self-starter who can seek out needs and information without directives Ability to multi-task and perform in several capacities Advanced knowledge of CRM and other tracking software, including Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
