Associate Product Manager

To identify customer needs for the specific product lines within their geographic responsibility, and direct the company?s efforts to provide the products and services that satisfy those needs.

Act as liaison for field sales and the manufacturing business unit.
Assist the sales and planning departments in establishing forecasts for new and current product offerings.
Establish goals and objectives associated with product line regarding advertising, promotion, web site, trade-show displays, and literature. Work with Marketing Comm. Mgr. to implement the plan within allocated budgets.
Conduct research, evaluate the results and report on customer satisfaction, to include studies to determine market potential for new, redesigned, or existing products.
Collect, analyze and report market information including statistical market share data, competitive information, and market trends.
Analyze product sales by region, market, and segments to identify areas of strength and weakness. Work with sales management to develop and implement a strategy to maximize product penetration in those areas.
Participate in management meetings having to do with origination and formulation, product development, advertising, sales ad promotion programs, marketing plans, and objectives.

Bachelors of Business or a technically related degree.
Experience with Six Sigma Tools desired. Belt certification a plus.
Creative with strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Excellent communication/public speaking skills.
Working knowledge of computer software. Extensive experience with Excel and powerpoint is a plus.
International exposure is a plus.
Travel 25% to 40%.
