Associate Research Analyst/ Research Analyst

Primary Duties:

?  Critically evaluate primary market research data and write reports primarily focusing on prescription pharmaceutical and health product forecasts

?  Evaluate data tables for accuracy and consistency as well as requested analyses to meet client objectives; report and help resolve problems or discrepancies.

?  Understand and explain statistically significant variances

?  Write interesting, concise and lively market research reports.

?  Explain as needed how data were analyzed in clear language.

?  Track the progress of projects; highlight issues to management and assist in their resolution.

?  Communicate with various departments and internal and external vendors to ensure efficient project flow

?  Ensure project work complies with practices, policies and standard operating procedures.

?  Compile necessary data files and complete specific tasks assigned on ad-hoc projects as needed

?  Contribute to the continuing development of improved processes for improved service quality and increased profitability

?  Occasional travel to client locations is required.

 

Qualifications/Related Skills:

?  Minimum of 2-5 years relevant work experience within market research

?  Interest in forecasting, consulting, business and marketing science.

?  Bachelor?s Degree in related field required; Masters degree with quantitative focus preferred (Preferable majors include Business, Mathematics, English, Psychology, Sociology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health)

?  Knowledge of MS Office applications

?  Analytically inclined and logic oriented, with strong conceptual understanding of numerical analysis.

?  Strong project management and organizational skills

?  Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, leadership and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

?  Superior oral and written communication skills

?  Self-motivated with high energy and a willingness to learn.

?  Client service orientation
