Automation Manager - Marketing Automation

Ameriprise Financial is currently seeking a Marketing Manager

-Marketing Automation to join the Corporate Marketing organization in our headquarters location in downtown Minneapolis. This individual must be able to analyze the current marketing landscape, understand marketing requirements/processes, facilitate solution conversations with clients and then lead the project to completion. The Marketing Automation Manager will also need to work within different areas of the organization to plan moderately complex projects, as well as preparing project plans, evaluating and reporting on project progress and recommending process improvements when necessary. This individual will team with professionals in Client & Marketing Communications, Advertising & Brand, Technology, Compliance, Production Operations, etc....



Key responsibilities may include:

- Work closely with internal clients to understand their business needs. Assist in analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, resource efficiencies and technology.

- Identify opportunities to improve their processes and help them meet their objectives via technology solutions

- Manage the Automation Implementation/Development Lifecycle from Analysis / Design / Build / Test / Implement / On-going Support

- Work with internal resources and external vendor companies in evaluating project needs for business systems/platforms, hosting, training, change management, communication plans etc

-Assist with program development, marketing campaigns, database marketing activities and brand initiatives

- Develop deployment deliverables (communication, training and performance measurements/KPIs)

Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in marketing with a focus on implementing technology solutions (database marketing, CRM etc.)

- Strong project management experience

- Experience leading multiple teams and working in a matrix environment

- Excellent customer/client relationship skills

- Excellent facilitation/presentation skills

- Experience working with clients at various levels of the organization: communicating clearly with technical and non-technical users

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)

- Undergraduate Degree

- Ability to meet travel requirements when applicable
