Job Description:
Infinity Resources, Inc., an Itasca, IL based e-commerce company, has an exciting opportunity immediately available for a Brand Manager who can drive the growth of a new retail category by merchandising, marketing & managing vendor relationships for a new e-commerce website selling books.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute an on-line merchandising strategy for the web site.
Develop and execute a marketing plan for the DeepDiscountBooks.com web site.
Maximize sales and margin by developing and executing vendor and category level promotional events.
Work with existing vendors to maximize demand and margin through merchandising and promotional activities.
Analyze, set and track sales by genre and vendor.
Maintain and execute production schedules for ordering product for timely and effective delivery.
Maintain a strong awareness of the overall e-commerce strategy for DeepDiscountBooks.com.
Develop and maintain relationships with publishers and distributors to ensure new product availability and capturing marketing dollars available for promoting the web site.
Develop and market the site for optimal sales and affiliate relationships.
Troubleshoot and drive resolution of web issues.

Requirements:
Knowledge and love of books.
College degree or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in merchandising retail book sales entities and developing relationships with the vendors, distributors and suppliers of books and related product required.
Strong entrepreneurial skills and new business development skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze sales data and generate order and sales forecasts.
Internet/Ecommerce marketing and merchandising experience desired. Proficiency in the use of general Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) desired.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, results-oriented environment.
