Brand Manager, Wheels

Falken Tire Corporation, best known for its Ultra High Performance Tires, is a subsidiary of The Sumitomo Rubber Industries Group.  We are dedicated to providing value in the Falken High Performance Tire brand through sustained commitment to advanced technological achievements and innovative products.  Falken Tire services the United States along with Canada and Mexico, through two distribution centers in Fontana, CA and Mt. Juliet, TN.

 

Our goal is to develop a Wheel Program that will be just as successful as our Tire Program.  We are seeking a Wheel expert to take the program to the next step toward success.

 

The Falken Wheels Brand Manager will have the primary responsibility for managing all aspects of Falken Tire's wheel business.  The position requires an experienced management level candidate that has the ability to work largely unsupervised in a very dynamic environment.

 

Job Duties:Assist in the design and review of new wheel styles and discontinuation of outdated styles.Primary responsibility for the identification of new wheel fitments.Primary responsibility for the analysis of market pricing and recommendation of Falken Tire dealer pricing.Primary responsibility for the management of wheel inventory.Assist in the development of all wheel advertising.Primary responsibility for negotiating wheel pricing from offshore manufactures.

 

Required Skills:Strong Excel and PowerPoint skillsAt least 5-7 years Wheel experienceMust possess strong organizational skillsStrong project management skillsSome travel required
