Broadcast Media Manager

Multi-site regional retailer seeks experienced Broadcast Media Manager for our Columbus, Ohio Corporate Office. In the fast-paced, highly visible role of Broadcast Media Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating and purchasing broadcast media and ensuring the accuracy of its contents and on-time delivery - all under the guidance of the Advertising Director.

Job responsibilities include:
- Performs the following in conjunction with managing the life cycle of broadcast media: researches and evaluates media channels; performs competitive analysis in designated markets; negotiates contracts under the direction of the Advertising Director; ensures accuracy and on-time delivery; and handles broadcast media related issues as they arise
- Reviews broadcast contracts for accuracy and verifies terms/conditions
- Performs post-buy analyses of broadcast media and reports the effectiveness of campaigns
- Evaluates and procures value-added promotional opportunities.

Job requisites:
- Junior Role: Minimum of 2+ years in broadcast media procurement, scheduling and analysis
Senior Role: Minimum of 4+ years in broadcast media procurement, scheduling and analysis; (Both Roles) Excellent communication and task management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising or Marketing, or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with upper management and outside agencies/vendors; good negotiating skills required.
- Ability to review proposals and ensure accuracy using basic mathematical understanding
- Ability to evaluate, research and provide logical media planning
