Business Development Manager
McGuireWoods LLP, one of the nation's top law firms, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our marketing team.
Primary responsibilities include proposal development and sales strategy, marketing strategy development and execution, and identification of PR opportunities.
Develops and assists in implementation of marketing strategies, programs and events to expand new and existing markets.
Creates responses to RFP's
Develops unsolicited written proposals for new business to specific targeted companies.
Coordinates development of presentations to specific clients and potential clients as needed.
Works with attorneys to develop and expand new/existing practice areas.
Monitors and works within the marketing budget.
Develops and manages all client development marketing events for assigned regions and practice areas.
Requirements:
4 year degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
Minimum of 5 years of professional services or law firm Marketing/Business development experience.
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proven experience in proposal development
Team player yet independent thinker.
Position will be located in our Richmond, VA office.
