Business Intelligence Analyst, Manufacturing - Lexington, MA

You're business oriented with a mind for data. You could be the next Business Intelligence Analyst at VistaPrint. You will be critical in the development, execution and refinement of our marketing, manufacturing, financial tracking and product development plans. As a member of VistaPrint's Analytics Team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining reporting tools for VistaPrint's global production and manufacturing departments. You will be vital to production, fulfillment and overall manufacturing by providing detailed reporting and analysis. The advanced technical support you will provide will enable VisatPrint to analyze ad-hoc requests and develop automated solutions or improvements. You will maintain the platforms used daily by the team to analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators.

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Statistics, Marketing or another relevant field (advanced degree preferred), and at least two years of professional business experience, manufacturing focus preferred. You should have a proven ability to multi-task and excellent problem solving skills. Strong experience with SQL is required; the proven ability to perform high performance data aggregation and real-time reporting solutions is a strong plus. You'll need experience with Microsoft Office Excel, VBA macros and Database integration. Experience architecting, maintaining, optimizing and administering Microsoft SQL Server and Analysis Services OLAP databases, as well as experience with SAS, ASP and/or ASP.NET and Web/Office integration (Office Web Components) to provide reporting tools and interfaces are a strong plus.

A quick learner, you'll be expected to apply new tools and techniques to your work. You should have a willingness to acquire knowledge of company databases and keep current with new technologies. You must be able to work independently, and as part of a team. You should be able to perform exploratory data analysis, and have excellent organizational skill, strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple businesses simultaneously. You will need to be dedicated to creating, enhancing and maintaining key reporting elements used by the entire organization to ensure adequate service levels.
