Major Responsibilities:

Develop and implement PGL/PGM Communication Strtategy. Set-up effective communication framework for PGM/PGL. Act as Key Account Manager for the PGL/PGM Management. Ensure alignment of messages. Development and implementation of a communication strategy and communication plans for PGL/PGM which: supports the strategic goals formulated in the Roadmap initiative; address the needs of a wide and complex stakeholder community; enable consistent, timely and regular communication of PGL/PGM strategy, goals, services, progress, developments and key messages; generate and maintain communication channels to match audience needs; provide a framework for communications in PGL/PGM in line with best practice, policies and procedures of PG. Development and implementation of a stakeholder management strategy: identification of key stakeholders and audience groups for PGL/PGM communications; coaching and consultation services for stakeholder responsible; development of stakeholder communication plans; provision of support materials and presentations. Coordinate implementation of communications strategies and manage delivery. Facilitate the conceptual development and coordinate the ongoing maintenance of content of the PGL/PGM web in line with PG guidelines and standards. Facilitate the marketing and communication of PGL/PGM services. Develop and implement tools for: assessment and measurement of communication effectiveness; capturing feedback to ensure issues are tracked and managed within the PGL/PGM management teams. Member of the PGL/PGM Management team: provide consultancy on effective communication activities, execution or overseeing execution. Partner with PG: to ensure consistency with Roche corporate standards and policies; to ensure that communication to sites is co-coordinated within Informatics consistency of messages; to provide PGL/PGM content and key messages for PG initiatives; Represent PGL/PGM within PGC. Ability to deal sensitively with difficult and confidential issues. Excellent personal communication skills. Understand the needs of customers and stakeholders. Responsive, flexible, consistent and reliable. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to build rapport at all levels and with a variety of people. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications:

A relevant communications degree or business degree. Ten years experience working as a Communication Manager in a complex environment. Good understanding of the IT business and services provided. International experience in a corporate environment with appreciation of the cultural differences that this entails. Additional languages desirable
