Campaign Coordinator

job SUMMARY Planning, collection, qualitative review and data entry of all promotional deals (newspaper inserts, direct mailers, internet emails, in-store handouts) into the campaign systems used to systemically roll out to all Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores.  Activities include the auditing on all Advertising and Un-Advertising Deals and the collaboration with Advertising and Merchant Management Teams to ensure smooth store register execution takes place.  Provide store support for any promotions that do not ring up correctly which will include research and collaboration with the Buying Team and MIS-Campaign.

 

 

ESSENTIAL duties and responsibilities

 
Responsible for the data entry of deal information into Campaign System with objective of accurate execution of all Roto, Handout or Marketing/CRM deals at store level.
Create and maintain communication to supervisor (describing details) on all Campaign promotions and status of the promotions for assigned rotos.
Review and approve all 4 advertising proof layouts to ensure the accuracy of the information being advertised.
Follow up with Buyer Assistants and marketing coordinators to ensure any errors have been corrected prior to press date.
Support stores and the Help Desk Dept. by solving any promotion issues in all Divisions (BRU & TRU) utilizing.
Coordinate and execute all pre-sell templates between purchasing, communications, and stores.
Produce and test coupon codes for vendor events.
Work closely with the Store Communication Dept. in updating the Advertising TPR list and any other Roto update for accurate information to be posted in the TRU web page.
Ability to view advertising promotions from a store/ guest perspective and translate changes to Buyers/ Marketing.
Weekly update the Buyer and Clarify Scorecards to chart the progress of our deals in relations to timeliness and accuracy.
Provide training to new BA?s on the Campaign process when requested.
Work with Q&A to set up and test new deals prior to rollout to the stores.
Coordinate meetings and resolve issues on projects with appropriate personnel.
Daily creation and updating of Master Deal and Signage List (MDSL) ? vehicle used to communicate all signage for upcoming deals that will be ?in-store?.
 

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree preferred (Business Administration or related field).
A minimum of 5 years of related experience in positions with increasing responsibility
2 years retail experience preferred.
Well-organized and disciplined with a strong grasp of detail and ability to plan, measure and execute complex business processes.
Proven ability to creatively indentify cost savings opportunities.
Provide for continuing improvement of the planning process through partnering and education.
Able to work with multiple projects and deadlines (multi-tasking).
Strong communication skills who can effectively work with people at all levels of the organization (e.g. dmm?s, buyers, directors, advertising and merchant management).
Demonstrate ability to manage and develop people in various areas of the business.
High energy level and strong work ethic.
Ability to work flexible hours. In some instances includes weekend coverage when a Roto breaks.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and limited supervision.
Works effectively and positively with other departments who have diverse backgrounds and personalities.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication (written & verbal), and customer (internal & external) relation skills.
Extremely organized and detailed oriented.
