Channel Marketing Specialist

The Online 401(k)? (www.theonline401k.com ) is hiring a full-time Channel Marketing Specialist to execute the company?s channel marketing programs and build relationships with our distribution partners. The position is based downtown San Francisco and reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

The Channel Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the execution, implementation and measurement of a variety of marketing programs designed to drive leads and sales from a number of established partnerships with Payroll Providers.

Key responsibilities:

? Participate in the design and fully implement marketing programs and tactics designed to drive 401(k) leads

? Create and project manage partner co-marketing activities such as sales training events, customized collateral, turnkey presentations, e-mail campaigns, success stories, public relations outreach, direct mail campaigns, etc?

? Write and manage daily and weekly channel partner communication as it pertains to marketing

? Track, analyze and report on the success or failure of marketing tactics

? Work closely with VP of Sales and Partnership Manager to find and create unique new opportunities to build lead flow with select partners

? Work closely with Graphic Designer, Online Marketing Manager on partner-specific print and online marketing support tools

? Lead internal weekly partnership team meeting to update on status of your channel?s programs

? Generate leads and sales reports (using Salesforce.com) and present results to partnership team

? Attend and analyze ROI from industry trade shows as needed

? Track marketing expenses of channel programs and measure ROI

 

Requirements

? Solid oral, presentation and written communication skills

? Marketing programs management experience

? Strong project management skills with experience in channel marketing programs

? Proven track record in managing engaging campaigns that drive leads and sales through distribution channels

? Experience in dynamic, small, fast-paced environments

? Ability to multitask, prioritize and assume responsibility

? Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

? Results oriented

? Experience in marketing to payroll companies or benefits providers a plus

 

Education & Experience:

? Bachelor Degree, Marketing or communications preferred

? 2 to 3 years of experience in channel marketing preferred

? Or 2 to 3 years of experience as an Account Executive

 

Compensation:
