Circular Designer

Create themes, concepts and templates for CVS/pharmacy circulars. CVS/pharmacy circulars drive over $68 million in revenue per week and are a major focal point of corporate advertising strategy. Circular concepts are completed months in advance of run date and are reviewed at the highest levels of merchandising and marketing management.
Interpret the CVS/pharmacy brand and apply ?best-in-class? advertising strategy to circulars.
Review competitors? work and become intimate with CVS/pharmacy brand personality.
Create clearly defined style guides for all concepts for implementation by circular production team.
Use concepting skills to move branding initiatives forward.
Work with photographer to art direct hero shots for special circular treatments.
Work with circular production designer to ensure branding initiatives are met and followed.
Work closely with Creative Design Manager and Creative Director to ensure creative meets needs of Sales Promotion, Marketing and Merchandising teams.
Update creative libraries as needed.
Communicate any changes to creative themes/elements to rest of advertising team.
Attend weekly Ad Turn-In meetings.


Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts/Design is required
3 to 8 years of previous work related experience
Fluency in In Design/Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator
Ability to conceptualize with minimal direction/supervision.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Macintosh experience required
Retail design experience in circular or catalog
