US provider of integrated information solutions to legal, business and government professionals. The Large Law Firm organization within West provides online legal and business information to nearly all of the nation?s top 500 law firms.   



 



The Large Law Firm organization is launching PeerMonitor, a Web-based monthly financial benchmarking solution, to the large firm market to support the business information needs of its customers. The product targets most-senior executives within those firms, including the Managing Partner, Executive Director, Practice Area Leaders and Chief Financial Officer.







 





The Account Manager provides day to day total account relationship management to Peer Monitor clients, thus playing a critical role in building, solidifying, and enhancing client relationships in order to retain existing revenue and identify opportunities for incremental business. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:Provide in-depth analysis on business benchmarks - The candidate must be able to evaluate the results, draw logical conclusions, and discuss identified patterns with end user. Verbally explain research findings to customers as needed. Through regular client dialog, understand each client's needs and more effectively provide proactive advice identifying additional relevant peer groups Evaluate usage statistics to and take actions to increase usageResponsible for seeing that all client questions, disputes, or general issues are addressed and resolved in the most professional and effective manner.Conduct all post-implementation activities including, but not limited to transition from Implementation consultant, one-off user training, collection of monthly extracts and annual certification.Conduct periodic analysis of at-risk revenue and engage appropriate groups within Thomson West to resolve client issues. Client support is delivered by phone, on-site visits, and periodic multi-client group sessions. In addition to giving clients a basic understanding of the product to which they subscribe, training is meant to encourage increased usage through a better understanding of the depth of information and flexibility offered through PeerMonitor. Troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of technical and data issues and inquiries






















Qualifications





Minimum Qualifications

?  Bachelor?s degree with major studies business, or finance.

?  Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct account management with business level decision makers

?  Experience in the legal industry is highly valued.

?  Relationship management experience is essential

?  Demonstrated ability to organize data and communicate results effectively both orally and in writing

?  Attention to detail and accuracy.

?  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing about financial matters with all levels of client personnel. 

?  Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple tasks simultaneously.

?  Strong capacity to analyze and prioritize while being outgoing, aggressive, and highly responsive
