Position Summary:

 

?  The Client Solutions Manager is the primary pre-sales resource responsible for identifying the business objectives of new and existing clients with a thorough understanding of the product capabilities to produce a client program concept that leverages ALG capabilities and provides a unique marketing opportunity for clients.  The CS Manager?s goal is to become the ?trusted, objective advisor? to ALG strategic and national accounts.  This position works in conjunction with Sales, Product Development, Solutions Analysis, and Operations. 

 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

?  For each sales opportunity, identify one or many solutions, facilitate initial assessment and duration from all functional areas, and create the strategy supporting the proposal.  Evaluate the market potential of new solution opportunities and positioning strategies.

?  Produce sales proposals and RFP responses; be able to write proposals in a clear and concise manner

?  Design loyalty solutions for business opportunities based on discovery of business requirements gathered from direct client interaction, Sales/Account Management knowledge, marketplace trends, and ALG suite of capabilities.  Be able to lead concept sessions with clients and then evaluate, package and present solutions directly to clients. 

?  Responsible for the support of the sales representatives by providing product knowledge to clients and potential clients both pre- and post-sale by attending or leading presentations, product demonstrations, etc. 

?  Once awarded business, utilize established solutions engineering process to evolve proposal to technical requirements.  Produce the Business Requirements Document, in coordination with Solutions Analysis, for final assessment and launch date determination.

?  Scan loyalty programs/trends through different industries and identify potential features, products, functionality, industries for development that may be needed by clients. 

?  Proactively identify solutions currently available but not yet employed by client base where possible to help Sales generate new business opportunities

?  Build solid, positive relationships with key personnel from all departments to ensure company goals are met.  Fundamentally understand functions of each department to facilitate informed recommendations for solutions that will consider the best interests of the company.

?  Is comfortable dealing with bench to leadership level client contacts and is able to direct conversation to desired outcome from many different directions (?think on your feet?)

?  Utilize a variety of proprietary tools to develop and deliver a road map implementation plan and milestones tailored for each client and be able to translate marketing strategies into action.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

?  College degree, Masters preferred

?  7-10 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably within the loyalty OR banking industry

?  Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, under tight deadlines

?  Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills to effectively communicate at all levels of both the ALG organization and the client organization

?  Must possess strong negotiation skillsProficient with Microsoft Office
