Duties/Responsibilities:

? Develops strategic-level plans and follows through with executional delivery of marketing programs and initiatives, utilizing a variety of media vehicles.

? Defines program parameters, purpose, and target audience and selects the marketing tools needed to execute the established strategy.

? Directs the creation, changes, and enhancements to all marketing materials and processes for assigned business units, initial drafting of both internal and external materials, interfacing with the internal Ad Agency and external print, design and fulfillment vendors (as needed).

? Delivers projects on time and on budget through: Establishment of firm project timeline and budget expectations with assigned business units.

? Maintains communication with key stakeholders throughout projects to assure assignments and expectations are being met and that issues are identified and rectified in a timely manner.

? Requires a strong working knowledge of the products, services and strategies of the assigned business unit or market segment.

? Minimal travel to various Sovereign locations will be required.

 

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Marketing; 7-10 years of experience in marketing and/or within the financial services industry required;Ability to think strategically in working with assigned business units; Excellent organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills; Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills required;  Attention to detail is highly important, as well as the ability to work independently, be self-motivated, adhere to strict deadlines, and possess problem-solving skills.
