Communications/Marketing Manager

TechAssist is a leading provider of IT support and consulting services to Small to Medium Sized Businesses in the Washington, DC Area.  We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our growing team.  The position would be responsible for all external and internal communications to press, clients, prospective clients, and the general public.  The position would also be responsible for managing our website, marketing collateral, managing events, and all other marketing duties associated with the company.

 

Requirements:

- Creates, implements and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products.

- Manages the research and development of content for publication of products.

- Oversees the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees and clients.

- Manages marketing campaigns for sales growth.

- Manages and directs all external/internal communication with clients and prospective clients.

- Provides PR support to further exposure of the company in the local and national market.

- Assists and performs other marketing and communication duties required by the organization. 

 

The ideal candidate would possess:

- 3+ Years of Marketing management experience.

- 2+ Years of Communications experience.

- Excellent Written, Verbal, and Presentation skills.

- Solid understanding of technology and its impact.

- Excellent understanding of web and media management and tactics.

- Proficient PR skills for press relations.

- Budget experience.

- Creative and Independent Mind with passion for business.

- Previous work experience with tech company a plus but not necessary. 

 

The position will report directly to the President of TechAssist.  TechAssist provides excellent compensation including full benefits, laptop and blackberry, and bonus structure.
