Communications Project Manager / Direct Mail

The position is located in Northbrook, IL

The purpose of the department is to provide markting support to the Allstate Protection organization.

The scope of this job is to provide team support and management of selected marketing communications programs within the team environment.

The individual will be responsible for:

1.  Day-to-day management of specified projects within the direct marketing discipline.
2.  Strong team interaction/cross functional team coordination.
3.  Emphasis on direct marketing channels, especially DRTV and online media.
4.  Project status, team coordination and budget responsibilities.
5.  Excellent project management skills.

The skills required are:

1.  Beginner - Experience in an agency or comparable marketing environment.
2.  Intermediate - Detail orientation, creative problem solver, good intuitive marketer.
3.  Advanced - Computer skills.
4.  Intermediate - Very good communication skills, written and verbal.
5.  Intermediate - Excellent project management skills.

Experience Required:
3-4 years in an agency and/or comparable environment.

Computer Proficiency:
Excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.

Education:
Masters/MBA - Preferred.
Major preference: Major in advertising, marketing and/or integrated marketing communications
