Communications Representative

As a Communications Representative with U.S. Bank, you will:Be responsible for writing responses to Requests for Proposals, creating and managing standard proposal content, and managing time to meet deadlines Coordinate specific proposal projects with sales representatives and relationship managers in approximately 50 field offices. Consult with staff across the business line in providing answers to client questions and enhancing proposal information Develop proposal-related materials specific to market needs, while adhering to corporate strategies and standards Report to the Proposal Group Manager. Write, edit, organize and package responses to Requests for Proposals in compliance with detailed client requirements on stringent deadlines to ensure U.S. Bank?s qualification in bid process Proofread proposals for content, grammar, style, formatting Use database of standard questions and answers used in proposals Contact subject matter experts for product updates and for assistance in answering specific client questions Update proposal language as needed and solicit input from subject matter experts periodically We require: Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills Ability to quickly assimilate new information Ability to write accurately about new and unfamiliar concepts Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people in all areas of the organization, from technical staff to executive staff Strong organizational and project management skills (including ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict and sometimes quick deadlines) One to five years experience in writing proposals or similar marketing communications materials Proven skill in written communication Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint. Experience with Lotus Notes, Siebel Systems (CRM software) and Proposal writing software would be an extra value-add Knowledge of commercial card products a plus B.A. in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field preferred.
