Communications and Planning Assistant

Fedders Corporation is a leading global manufacturer of air treatment products, including air conditioners, furnaces, air cleaners, dehumidifiers and humidifiers for residential, commercial and industrial markets.  An opening currently exists for a Communications and Planning Assistant in our Corporate office, located in Liberty Corner, New Jersey.

 

This individual will have responsibility for participating in communications and planning activities including; policies and procedures, strategic business planning, global marketing, annual reports and news releases, as well, as providing assistance with various other communications and planning activities including; research, document tracking, project management and reporting, presentations, etc.

 

Other major duties and responsibilities include: editing policies and procedures, managing review process, distributing documents, maintaining updates on ifedders.com, tracking confirmations of receipt, etc.; assisting in development and issuance of news releases, annual reports, presentations and reports; creating, maintaining and updating strategic business plan databases and communicating with corporate division personnel on status of plans; assisting VP in corporate communications activities, including, but not limited to: review/approval process of marketing communications/materials, special projects and corporate communications programs; administrative activities including maintenance of data bases and document tracking  (pops, news releases, ARB routings, RTPs)

 

The qualified candidate must have a BS/BA degree with 1-3 years related experience.  Must possess strong organizational, and proofreading skills, strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work with employees on all levels.  Ability to work in a fast paced multiple-priority position.  Must have Superior PC applications experience, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
