SIX SIGMA MANAGER, PROCESS EXCELLENCE/COORDINATED CONSUMER COMMUNICATIONS
This position is responsible for managing a business-wide consumer communication process, through carefully planned, executed and measured communication campaigns that advance Humana's core business objectives and create the right environment for growth and profitability leveraging Voice of the Customer technique.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordinated Consumer Communications
Create an integrated consumer experience across all touchpoints by driving compliance and rigor around the business-wide consumer communications process
Establish cross-functional forums to plan and proactively improve the planned consumer experience with all stakeholders involved
Develop a broad understanding of Humana's processes with a total systems approach
Design the measurement system needed to evaluate the effectiveness and impacts of communications
Insure training of communications process and use of technology remains current and evolves with growing business needs
Process Improvement
Identify and prioritize process improvement projects and resources
Create, motivate and facilitate cross-team collaboration within Marketing and across key business partners to deliver on business objectives
Ensure appropriate identification of root causes through effective use of data analysis tools and techniques
Lead change, continuously striving to achieve improved business results
Provide coaching in the areas of quantitative analysis, consultative techniques and facilitation to project managers as they lead improvement projects and generate client results
Prepare and present findings / proposals to senior management, with recommendations, including cost benefit analysis, risk mitigation with action plans
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA Marketing or Psychology and 7-10 years Marketing or Six Sigma experience; (MBA or Masters Degree preferred)
Six Sigma Black Belt required (MBB preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experience in integrated marketing communications and / or corporate communications with a proven track record of managing multiple communications channels
Analytical in thinking with preference for data driven decision making
Process orientation with ability to perform root cause analysis
Proven campaign management skills; history of leading introduction campaign management model in an organization preferred
Ability to write clear, compelling communication strategies that address both corporate and business-level objectives
An understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodology, as well as an ability to analyze both primary and secondary research data, then interpret findings and translate into action steps that positively impact communications strategy
Excellent oral and written communication skills which include ability to effectively negotiate and persuade all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership
Diplomacy, charisma and finesse in gaining group consensus on key decisions
Process orientation with ability to perform root cause analysis
Excellent people, coaching, mentoring and staff development skills
Demonstrated strategic business perspective
Proven leadership skills and business acumen
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to travel
