Position will provide support for various accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.



Bachelor's degree in Accounting plus 1 or 2 years experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable (or comparable experience).
Broad understanding of accounts receivable functions, including billing (fixed fee and time & expenses), payment application and account reconciliation.
General understanding of accounts payable functions, including voucher entry.
Extensive experience with MS Office; experience with Peoplesoft a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills including ability to work well with internal and external 'clients'.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

Responsibilities Include


Maintaining and organizing client contracts.
Scheduling invoices based on contracts, media requisitions and change orders.
Generating invoices and credit memos.
Applying client payments and maintaining supporting documentation.
Assisting in reconciling AR account on a monthly basis.
Maintaining and organizing client media campaign reconciliations, including receiving invoices, routing invoices for approval and maintaining accrual for unapproved invoices.
Assisting with quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing for AR and AP
Providing support to accounts payable, including voucher entry and maintaining the vendor files.
Special projects, as necessary
