Copy Editor

Video Professor, a national direct marketing firm located in Lakewood Colorado, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Copy Editor.  Position will be responsible for reviewing graphic artwork, copy editing and print production for the company web site; serving as a key resource for copy editing script and tutorial materials, executive Blogs; and editing publications and various projects.

 

As a self-directed candidate you will possess strong, proven communication, organizational, and analytical skills, which will allow you to be successful in this fast paced, team-oriented environment.  Must demonstrate above average written and communication skills; experience in working with publishers, editors and writers; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office required; familiar with web-based applications; and must be familiar with the following style guides: Chicago and AP.  Experience with Macromedia Director is helpful. 

 

Candidate must have a BA in English and a minimum of 1 year of copy editing experience.
