COPYWRITER

 

Copywriter is responsible for managing the concepting and copywriting component of projects from initial conception through final execution, partnering with account management and art direction. 

 

 

Job Description:Manages creative jobs, including multi-channel programs, from receiving the communications strategy through to copy execution. Use knowledge, skills and training to determine the copy approach, content and format that most effectively meets objectives and deadlines.Responsible for factual research when necessary and reviewing current marketing trends, and available data to formulate creative approach.Develops original, innovative and relevant executions of concepts, generating copy that is grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate for a variety of media and targets, in both languages, English and Spanish.Participate and contribute in creative concepts development aligned with strategy and provide brand(s) with big campignable ideas.Understands how to connect brands with consumers in engaging ways, how to communicate quickly and clearly, and how to sell. Translates this analysis into written words.Works closely with Art Director and Designers to ensure that Art Direction supports the concept.

 

Job Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Creative Writing 4(+) years of copywriting experience, 2 of them in Agency. Latin/Hispanic market advertising agency experience a plus.Fully bilingual ? MUST be fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish and English.Exceptional proofreading skills and self-editing capabilityStrong knowledge of grammar and styleExcellent listener and communicator with superior writing skillsProficient user computer, e-mail programs and InternetAble to work with little supervisionKnowledge of marketing/promotional strategies and tactics preferredConsumer packaged goods experience a plus
