Corporate Communications Director - Brand PR

Purpose

This role will contribute to the success of Cadbury Schweppes by using communication to support the achievement of Americas Beverages region's short and longer-term business goals and objectives, and reputation attributes within the context of the global Cadbury Schweppes agenda, its values and the financial value contribution expected. As a senior member of a regional corporate communications and marketing teams, this individual will support and represent the Cadbury Schweppes Beverages Business in the Americas. This individual will serve as the leader on Brand PR communications, driving sales and brand awareness while maximizing marketing spend by leveraging Product PR, and taking greater advantage of the brand names in our portfolio across the region.

Accountabilities
Work with the VP of corporate communication to develop the strategy and then lead the execution of internal and change communications for the region. Drive Brand Publicity Support all Brand Wheels Develop Strategic Brand Plans Execute and evaluate activity against those plans. Collaborate effectively with Marketing Resources, and maintain strong alignment with the Brand Activation team and individual brand's marketing teams. Manage agency relationships across all CSAB brands As needed, provide corporate-specific messaging and counsel to sales communications team. Protect brands and corporate image through issue management. Participate in incident management team. Demonstrate superior influencing skills. Collaborate with the Director for External Corporate Communication on best marketing use of the corporate internet site in the region. Ensure alignment of all initiatives with CSAC and GHQ.

Pre-Requisites
A minimum of eight years experience in corporate communications at a senior level, or in a leadership role supporting Brand PR Agency Experience at VP level or above, preferred. Experience in Consumer Products industry preferred. Demonstrated ability to innovatively deliver against commitments and resolve issues and opportunities. Superior writing, research, presentation, project management and interpersonal skills. Masters degree preferred, relevant university degree.
