Gerson Lehrman Group?s Council Recruiters assist in the development, management and deployment of Gerson Lehrman Group?s core asset ? the Gerson Lehrman Group Councils.  The GLG Councils are Gerson Lehrman Group?s proprietary global network of key opinion and industry leaders, consultants, and other knowledge-endowed professionals who educate Gerson Lehrman Group?s clients.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

The Council Recruiter role is an exciting entry-level position in the GLG?s fast-growing global firm with opportunities to work closely with industry leaders to help educate clients in this sector. Council Recruiters, working in small teams of 2?3 people, will contribute to the development and maintenance of deep industry knowledge. Using this knowledge, Council Recruiters will help to identify relevant experts, introduce them to the GLG Councils consulting relationship, and invite them to work with the GLG Councils.  Specific duties include:

 

 

?  Interacting with Council Members to capture and enhance critical GLG KnowledgeBase profiles in the Gerson Lehrman Group database

?  Quickly identifying and establishing consulting relationships through e-mail and telephone with top thought leaders best suited to educate our clients on topical inquiries

?  Strategically growing the Gerson Lehrman Group Councils based on an intimate understanding of client interests and relevant therapeutic developments; methods include relationship building, referral development, association partnerships, professional recruiting campaigns

 

 

Candidate profile:

 

Potential candidates possess:

 

?  Bachelor?s degree from a top-tier university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater

?  Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person, etc.)

?  Successful track record working in a team environment

?  Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

?  Passion for relationship building

?  Interest in building an Internet-driven business

?  Demonstrated fluency in using technology tools to improve effectiveness and increase efficiency
