The Director, AI Market Research is responsible for leading the market research organization. Position is responsible for implementing market research department strategies and organizational structure to ensure Division market research needs are met; builds and grows the analytical capabilities of the Market Research Department; guides marketing to decisions and actions, which are indicated by marketing research.; provides leadership to the MR team responsible for influencing marketing decisions through the use of market research; assesses and approves market research plans; keeps abreast of major pharmaceutical market trends; brings forward innovative, creative ways of doing market research, i.e. new forms of analysis, new sources of information, or new measurement techniques; develops partnerships with major market research agencies and is responsible for global negotiations; responsible for championing cross-divisional and external initiatives (e.g. liaises with EPHMRA, PBIRG, PPD).

Qualifications
10+ years of pharmaceutical market research experience including significant people management experience within the function. Proven experience to build and inspire people, establish trust and lead high performing teams. Effective interpersonal communication skills; executive presence; ability to influence key decision makers; high proficiency in communicating strategic and tactical issues to team members and commercial leadership; track record of success negotiating contracts/relationships; broad understanding of key business drivers and organizational needs.
Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
