JOB SUMMARY

 

Provide creative development and graphic design services and support to Auntie Anne?s Inc., franchisees and other customers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

1. Provide graphics support and direction to local marketing initiatives including:

? Custom merchandising and marketing needs

? Online Toolbox

? Marketing materials for packaged local marketing programs

2.  Provide creative and design support and direction to national marketing initiatives including:

? In-store marketing events

? Advertising

? Merchandising

? Packaging

3.  Provide creative and design support to Prepared Products initiative

? Continue development and refinement of creative platform for Fundraising product line

? Make recommendations for application of platform in wide variety of mediums including display, packaging, point-of-sale materials, marketing programs and sales materials, taking into account customer- and consumer-level audiences

? Supply creative direction and graphic design services as needed for internal and external customers and suppliers

4.  Direct and/or assist with photo shoots, press checks, and other stages of the creative development or production process.

5.  As necessary, provide graphics support and design assistance to internal departments, internal/external customers and suppliers for various needs.

6.  As necessary, provide current and appropriate artwork to media, vendors, suppliers and international licensees.

7.  Stay current with graphics industry trends and constantly update skills and capabilities associated with graphic design software.

8.  Participate in the planning of the bi-annual franchise convention by serving on at least one convention sub-committee, and providing assistance as required during the convention.

9.  Perform a variety of other duties as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  Education/Experience:

  B.S. / B.A. Degree in Advertising, Fine Arts, Marketing or related field. Minimum four years of experience working in an advertising / graphic arts position. High level of proficiency required in graphic design programs (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark X-press, etc.) in both PC and Macintosh platforms. Working knowledge and familiarity with pre-press and printing processes is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills required.

 

  Communication Skills (computer, office equipment, etc.):

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint). Maintain a positive attitude and customer-service focus, occasionally under time constraints, in a fast-paced environment. Required to work independently and/or as a team player. Requires strong interpersonal skills while interacting with supervisors, both intra/and inter-departmentally with co-workers, franchisees and professional contacts outside A/A?s. Extensive knowledge of office equipment, including telephone systems, computer systems, fax machines, printers, copiers, etc.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB

 

Ability to work overtime as needed to meet required deadlines. Must be able to see, hear, and communicate as required by the position. The employee is regularly required to type. Occasional travel may be required; incumbent must be able to drive a vehicle and/or travel, using public transportation.
