Designer/Web Master Position


We are seeking a highly motivated & talented individual to fill a unique role as Graphic/Web Designer to keep up with production demands in both print and online communications. Job Accountabilities:


The graphic designer/web master fulfilling this role will be responsible for strategic graphic/web production projects, assisting the creative/brand director on creative strategy, design and pre-press support for all marketing collateral development. The individual will be responsible for the daily management of web site initiatives in queue, including the corporate web site. The designer/web master will strategically look for ways to improve the look, feel and functionality of our existing sites, increasing design, recommending copy, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), overall branding, etc. Work quickly and accurately, keeping up with high volume demands.


? Follow established branding guides and initiatives


? Develop marketing communications collateral along side fellow marketers


? Work closely with the brand director to support all brand and marketing initiatives for the company, including working hand-in-hand with corporate marketing agency.


? Assist in the creative review of all marketing collateral developed


? Develop and update brand standards and guidelines


? Develop print and presentation templates


? Assist in the creative development and production of all experience branding for our call centers and corporate offices


? Daily management and updates to corporate web site using the content management system


? Maintain vendor relationships for brand, print and web


? Expected to be an integral part of the web site editorial review board


? Assist in the development of online advertising site banners ads/promotional pieces/online creative ads


? Assist in the planning for future web updates, information architecture, site launches


? Validate cross-browser compatibility of XMLXHTML/CSS pages to increase conversion rates


? Manage the assets and edits to visual assets of our online sites (video, flash and images) including edits, color correction and resizing of scanned or purchased assets.


? Support the IT programming/web development team in deploying new and updated areas of our web sites


? Support other process and corporate functions such as internal communications, BEVS, IT with creative development and production needs.





Qualifications:


? Bachelor's degree required in Design/Desktop Publishing and/or Web Design.


? 4-6 years Graphic and Web design experience in a marketing and/or creative environment preferred in the following areas: advertising, healthcare, retail, direct marketing, retail merchandising, etc.


? Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)


? Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) design and management highly desired


? Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and multi-tasking ability


? Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills


? Excellent project management skills, ability to work in fast-paced team environment


? Proficient computer skills required with PC and Mac platforms. All Microsoft Office Suite Applications; PhotoShop, Illustrator, inDesign/Quark, Web Design best practices, Internet Savvy, etc.


? Full understanding of the technical and creative relationship between design, information architecture and programming


? HTML/XML/.NET programming language recommended by not a definite for candidate


? Be an ambitious team player with a positive morale


This is a full-time position based Nashville, TN and not open for freelance work. Portfolio of sample work to accompany resume is highly recommended
