Rauxa Direct, one of the fastest growing direct marketing agencies on the West Coast, has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced copywriter to work on national brand accounts. This position is located in our Costa Mesa office.

We?re looking for a talented individual who knows what it takes to write an effective direct mail package and can manage multiple projects and tight deadlines with ease! The ideal candidate has between three and six years direct mail experience in a major agency. You also must be creative, articulate, full of good ideas and understand what motivates people to respond. Your background includes writing to B2B and B2C audiences across a variety of different industries ? it is likely that the successful candidate will have finance and travel experience in their portfolio.


This is a mid-level level position and requires the following:BA in English, Journalism, Advertising or related discipline; Up to six years of copywriting experience in an agency environment Exceptional conceptual writing skills Excellent proofreading skills Strong communication and presentation skills A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

 

This position will start in a temporary freelance (1099) capacity and transition to permanent once the selected candidate has proven her/his capabilities.
