Studeo is looking for a Direct Mail Manager/Director to lead our client?s direct mail efforts.  If you have 5+ years experience and passion for planning and executing national consumer direct mail campaigns, this position is for you.   Experience in the proprietary education industry is a plus.

 

You will be charged with owning all activities related to our direct mail programs, and directing a team of people on all aspects of the process ? creative, list, customer modeling, production, media integration, and analysis. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Develop and execute key direct mail programs aimed at increasing student lead volume, student start rate, and retention rate.

? Coordinate direct mail testing and initiatives for internal groups as well as external agencies and vendors

? Fine tune and supervise the production, QA, and client approval process

? Build strong working relationships with external list partners

? Maintain a thorough understanding of current USPS regulations and DMA guidelines as they relate to direct mail

? Implement a cost effective student modeling program using 3rd Party tools

? Manage and analyze an aggressive and extensive reporting and testing program

? Communicate actionable recommendations based on insights

? Work with remote offices to integrate seamlessly on overall media strategy and campaign timing

 

 

Requirements:

 

? 5 or more years work experience in a direct mail marketing role with education marketing firm, direct to consumer catalog company, direct response or retail enterprise

? Working knowledge or all direct mail formats and uses.

? Experience in developing and managing an end to end solution using variable printing technology.

? Excellent analytic skills coupled with a deep understanding and experience in direct mail including: tactics, lists, creative, offers, segments/markets coupled with a keen desire to understand consumer motivation

? Previous success developing and executing large, effective direct to consumer direct mail campaigns

? Experience in customer profiling and implementation

? Experience in all aspects of direct response marketing from creative development through post campaign analysis

? Strong PC skills and proficiency with a variety of software applications including Excel, Power Point and Word, proficiency in 3rd Party Tools such as Claritas, Prizm a plus

? A mind for effectively managing details

? The ability to focus on projects to their completion

? Proficient verbal and written communication skills

? BA required. MBA desirable
