Direct Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a Direct Marketing Analyst who has strong analytical skills, experience with SAS or SQL and has analyzed data for various direct marketing campaigns (mail, catalog etc). In this role, you will be working on producing files of customer names for direct marketing mailings, as well pre and post campaign response analysis to determine the impact of the mailings.  Understanding customer buying behaviors under certain conditions and segmenting those customers is also part of this fast paced, exciting opportunity.  Reporting responsibilities also include providing standard department reports as required, including but not limited to customer lag buying reports, customer activation and deactivation performance, etc. 

 

To shine in this role, you need to be able to provide insights related to customer/campaign attributes as required by the business owners, as well as setting up the campaigns to provide for appropriate testings and learnings based on objectives defined by the business.  Establishing a fundamental understanding of Circuit's customer database including customer transaction data and modeling assets are also key responsibilities of this role.  Additionally, executing campaign processes and delivering files in a timely way to the mail houses will allow you to be successful in this position. 

 

Technical Skills/Requirements

? Problem solving and solution implementation in a direct marketing environment

? Statistical analysis experience

? Proficiency in SAS or SQL

? Undergraduate's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research or other decision science (Preferred)
