Position Description:

DESCRIPTION:

This role will manage direct marketing campaigns for the Career Sales organization in the Long Term Care division. The qualified candidate will manage both direct mail and telemarketing campaigns and assist with the fulfillment program as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Vendor management for, Creative, Print, Mail, Telemarketing and Data Processing vendors; including but not limited to:
- Job scheduling and prioritization; Issue resolution; Pricing; Cost and volume forecasting; Establishing and tracking open POs and invoices; Quality control, dashboard reporting, auditing; Process improvement; Establish and review specifications.
* Drive the day-to-day execution of direct marketing campaigns, both telemarketing and mail.
* Maintain production processing schedules for all campaigns.
* Inspect and sign off on campaigns throughout processing; execute quality control steps.
* Partner with internal and external creative resources to develop cost effective designs/scripts that garner increased response.
* Competitively bid new designs with multiple suppliers and track marketing expenses.
* Responsible for containing test pricing, schedule, plan and prioritize direct marketing projects.
* Track direct marketing metrics-to include volume and response rate.
* Lead process improvement efforts related to procedures supporting mail and telemarketing campaigns.
* Manage multiple priorities and projects with tight timelines.
* Work across multiple functions of the sales organization. Present data and findings in compelling fashion to influence others and gain commitment from all levels of the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* 2-5 years of Direct Marketing experience.
* 1 or more year of experience with data programming.
* 1 or more year of experience with printing and direct mail telemarketing campaign setup and execution.
* 2 or more years of experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Basic Candidate Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of Direct Marketing experience.
* 1 or more year of experience with data programming.
* 1 or more year of experience with printing and direct mail telemarketing campaign setup and execution.
* 2 or more years of experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
* Previous experience in Direct Marketing in the financial services or insurance industry.
* Knowledge of US Postal Service regulations.
* Supplier relationship management experience.
* Project management experience.
* Experience in Operations related/cross-business initiatives.
