INtegrated Marketing Services ('IN') is a full service marketing and promotions agency that delivers strategically designed and flawlessly executed customer marketing and consumer promotion programs. Offering a complete suite of promotional tools that are consumer focused and customer connected, IN operates a dynamic, fast-paced agency and is looking for quality candidates to join the IN team.
INtegrated Marketing Services ('IN') is seeking a Director, Client Services to join a very busy Marketing team, located out of the Greenwich, CT Office.
The Director, Client Services functions as the leader of strategic planning, execution and communication for client-based promotional programs at a specific national retailer or a group of regional retailers. Primary role is to provide leadership and critical thinking in the conception, development, sell-in and execution of promotional program calendars in conjunction with company and client personnel.
A successful Director, Client Services will focus on planning, concept development, commitment to executional excellence, and delivering results that are in concert with client and retailer initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop strategic account-specific programs to promote client?s portfolio of brands, using the following assets:
? Retailer and shopper insights as gleaned through syndicated data.
? National brand platforms and strategy information.
? Agency creative team - brainstorming and concept development.
? Sales insights and objectives.
2. Orchestrate the execution of planned programs through field promotion management team, including:
? Retailer presentation and sell-in process.
? Overseeing research and negotiation with third party properties, events and media organizations.
? Determining project components including: concept, event, media, POS materials and other associated costs.
? Tracking and reporting program status and budget updates.
? Communicating with creative team to develop desired results for program artwork.
3. Cultivate strong relationships with client sales team and provide consistent communication during program development and execution, working in partnership to deliver against client objectives.
4. Manage and report co-marketing budget allocated for each brand.
5. Establish relationships with key retailer contacts to facilitate program sell-in and execution.Understand retailer objectives to target programming accordingly.Provide guidance and insight to other Integrated client teams as ?retailer expert.?Maintain Integrated?s ?closest to the customer? positioning.
6. Administer reporting of in-market execution and effectiveness of promotional programs as well as working with Strategic Planning & Insights team to deliver post-promotional evaluations of programs.
7. Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
? Must have a bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred MBA.
? 8-10 years in the role of leader/manager in agency or brand management, including experience in customer-specific marketing with national grocery retailers.
? Five years of team supervisory experience.
? Must be able to present effectively to large and small groups in a variety of settings.
? Creative self-starter with strong organization, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
? Committed project manager who can balance multiple programs and direct resources appropriately.
? Computer literate (strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills)
? Must be willing to travel.
