Habitat for Humanity, an international non-profit ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide, is seeking a Director of Diaspora Giving to direct activities which establish partnerships with immigrant groups thereby securing financial support from the Diaspora community in support of HFHI's ministry worldwide. 

Essential Duties:

-Develop and collaborate on new products to facilitate Diaspora contributions, and take a leadership in advocacy thereby protecting families in their homelands or countries of origin.  Utilize education, cultivation, solicitation, and appreciation of current and prospective donors to engage new generation of philanthropists.
- Emphasis is placed on establishing partnerships with individuals, corporations, churches, associations and other organizations representing the diverse immigrant communities living outside their countries of origin. Recruits, trains, manages, and develops a team who will be responsible for relationship management linked to international regions (Asia/Pacific, Africa/Middle East, ECA and LAC).
-Personally manages a select portfolio of relationships through personal visits, phone calls, and letters.
- Establishes goals for activity, revenue production, and acceptable return on investment for each representative.
- Develops and manages an effective support team for the department.

-Serve as the liaison, along with Global Philanthropy team, between the Diaspora communities and HFH internal customers. 
-Based on donor and market intelligence, this hub would proactively alert, advise, prepare and recruit the appropriate departments and resources. 
-Coordinate closely with internal customers at HFH HQ, Area Offices, national offices and other departments/programs to strategize, design and collaborate on initiatives designed to engage and include donors representing immigrant communities.
-Develop and implement best practices related to fundraising goals related to donor adquisition, cultivation and stewardshship. 
-Track new business development successes.

-Manage and monitor revenue and budget related to Global Philanthropy unit.
- Work with Senior Staff on fundraising and outreach benchmarks for Diaspora Communities.

-Participate in the planning and execution of special donor events. 
-Participate and support global mission trips (maximum of two per year) of qualified major donors to HFH build to inform them about specific project and encourage them to give. 
-Identify and support affiliates with technical advice on Diaspora fundraising. 
-Collaborate with affiliates in the cultivation and solicitation of  Diaspora donors. 
-Work closely with Area office and National programs in the development and implementation of strategic plans related to Diaspora Philanthropy.
-Control data relating to all donor contacts by entering data, and tracking donors through our donor management system. 
-Administrative tasks such as weekly reports and expenses. 
  -Bachelor's Degree required.
-Six to ten years of international fundraising and field experience is essential. 
- "Virtual team" or matrix management experience is preferred.  Outstanding oral, written communication skills, analytical, persuasion, mediation. 
-Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects with variable deadlines. 
-Excellent team building, leadership and organizational skills. 
-Collaboration with multiple Habitat departments and with outside partners is key. 
-Computer literate with the ability to use word-processing, spreadsheet, database, email, web browser and project software.
