InfoSpace also mobilizes brands and creates programming and revenue opportunities for mobile operators.  The company?s products and services have extensive reach in North America and Europe through carriers such as Cingular Wireless, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile; in partnership with world-class brands such as Cablevision and Fox News; and through online Web sites such as Dogpile (Dogpile.com), which showcase the company?s leading metasearch technology and key advertising partnerships with companies like Google, Yahoo!, Verizon SuperPages and Yellowpages.com.  About the Director, Entertainment Marketing Position: Looking for an enthusiastic, creative self-starter that is willing to jump in and get involved with a very exciting and growing company. You will be instrumental in leading a team that develops marketing programs that increase awareness, motivate people to download mobile content (i.e. ringtones, video, graphics, games) and generate revenue for our industry leading mobile initiatives. You will also be working closely with the carriers to help them market our services to their end customers. We are looking for applicants with a background and interest in Marketing and/or Licensing.  Experience in the entertainment industry is required. Experience with traditional advertising agencies, promotional agencies and guerilla/viral marketing agencies required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop strategy for branding, advertising and promotional programs that align with the overall marketing plan. Manage a team of marketing individuals to create and execute marketing plans to sell into carriers and reach consumers. Be able to lead the development of reporting models to measure ROI and track performance of programs against these models. This includes reporting on performance to senior management. Develop and grow partnerships with entertainment companies, celebrities, and PR agencies. Work closely with product management and market research to align efforts, maximize revenue and deliver a strong and consistent message to our customers. Generate innovative ideas to promote our products and services to consumers. Effectively work with our creative teams to develop powerful communication pieces that are effective at driving customers. Create message strategies that effectively position InfoSpace products in the marketplace. Knowledgeable of industry trends and competitive profile information. Skills & Experience: Ten + years of successful marketing experience. Five + years entertainment marketing or licensing experience strongly preferred. Proven track record of managing a team of marketing professionals that meets and exceeds objectives set in acquiring customers. Experience marketing new media products and services preferred. Experience in coordinating cross team projects and managing conflicting requirements/needs. Ability to develop strategies, creative briefs, and position products successfully. Experience working with advertising agencies. Proven track record of developing marketing programs that drive acquisition of qualified customers. Excellent presentation skills, Internet advertising/media sales, marketing and promotion experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills under time pressures and working with often complex technical solutions and IP limitations. Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects all while keeping a focus on the big picture. Youth Marketing experience including skills in analyzing trends and lifestyles to identify the latest desires of the 3 ? 24 year old consumer. Active and current knowledge of POP culture, new music, movies, films, sports, games, fashion and fads. Education & Training


Bachelor's degree in business or communications with an emphasis in Marketing or Advertising. Advanced Degree desired.
