Director, Global Strategic Marketing, BOTOX Cosmetic

Position Description   This position will assess, develop and influence the global execution of opportunities for the BOTOX Cosmetic business to maintain a worldwide leadership position.  Will develop strategic business plans and define product needs/profiles. Will also work with Business Development to fill product gaps and R&D to ensure that development plans meet market needs and defined product profiles.

 

In collaboration with regional marketing leaders, the Director is responsible for pre-launch/launch activities for new indications/products on a global basis. Together with regions, is responsible for strategic direction of business segment and maximization of product sales and expense leverage throughout the product life-cycle. Will have a close working relationship with R&D, regional/key country marketing teams, public relations, regulatory/legal, health outcomes, medical marketing, market research, operations and key opinion leaders.

 

Education and Experience

 

Minimum Requirements

? Four year degree in a business or scientific/technical discipline. 

? Ten years of business experience of which at least half should be in pharmaceutical sales/marketing functions. Product launch experience required.

? Ability to lead and influence as evidenced by experience as a manager/project leader etc.

? Experience and knowledge to work in a matrix environment.

? Ability to work in a global environment and travel globally.

? Strategic thinking and analytical expertise.

 

Desired Requirements

? MBA

? Experience in a global or international marketing position.

? Experience in working with R&D.

? Aesthetic, Neurology or Consumer marketing experience.

? Previous partnership experience (co-promotion, co-development)
