Director MarketZone & Technology Alliance Job Function & Responsibilities:
Manage a team consisting of Market Zone Program Alliance Managers; field sales support managers; program developers and solution architects to drive incremental revenue through the sale of partner products, create leverage revenue through the availability of complementary solutions from other independent software companies and build the BMC/BSM ecosystem by providing development tools & support for the creation of integrations and complementary products by third parties.

Skills Required:
Good verbal and written communications, ability to negotiate contracts, including basic legal terms, good understanding of the sales process and the ability to provide sales support. Knowledge of BMC?s release to manufacturing and post-sales support processes is desirable. Must have sufficient knowledge of BMC?s business strategy to be able to engage in selective recruitment of partners and products and to gain the trust of the business development and product management communities. Good interpersonal and management skills are key. Must be able to gain consensus and support across multiple departments for complex projects. Basic knowledge of accounting and legal principles for the software industry. Basic knowledge of IT systems.

Education/Training Required:
Bachelors degree (MBA desired)
