Director, Marketing Analysis

Description:
This position will drive Marketing and Corporate Communications analysis efforts under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing Planning, Reporting & Analysis. The successful candidate will interface with Ameriprise Information Management to drive our decision support agenda.



- Institute a hypothesis driven and fact based analytical approach to new marketing initiatives.

- Implement and maintain an effective intake process for managing analysis resources, communicating status and providing timely delivery to business partners. Drive a consistent measurement approach across marketing initiatives.

- Work with Marketing Strategy on the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives, identifying key drivers of program results and developing measurement plans.

- Drive the analysis of Client Acquisition and Client Marketing programs.

- Provide guidance in the design and implementation of marketing programs.

- Execute ad-hoc Marketing analysis needs.

- Lead and develop a team of four Marketing Analysts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years business experience required,

- MBA preferred

- Business or marketing consulting experience or client service requiring analytical or innovative problem-solving work required

- Sound business judgment and strategic planning skills

- Experience managing client/business partner expectations

- Strong ability to work cross functionally

- Forward thinking, with track record of using creative approaches to solve business problems

- Experience influencing and directing people outside of their reporting structure

- Strong presentation and communication skills ? from blank screen, to ability to lead constituents to what they need
