PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:

With minimal direction, the Director Program Management is responsible for leading the execution of sales programs and strategies by coordinating efforts through the phone, branch and web channels within FPI Distribution. This includes the ongoing management of the programs with a focus on achieving defined business goals and objectives through coordination and partnership with key business partners.

Major Responsibilities



PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION:


o Develop programs that focus on delivering business objectives and goals through close coordination with FPI product and segment business partners.


o Through experience and facilitation, deliver and manage programs that effectively deliver sales results across the three primary FPI channels of Phone, Branch and Web.


o Design, develop and manage the implementation of project plans. Coordinate with key project partners to ensure the implementation plan is coordinated with other design, development and delivery milestones
o Manage/facilitate resolution of open issues that impact distribution as well as those that require input from distribution
o In partnership with L&C, design and execute Distribution/Field Communications
o Solicit and address feedback from the field during and post-implementation
o Plan and facilitate distribution working group meetings to resolve key issues, discuss implementation plans and gather direct field input on key project decisions


BUSINESS PARTNER SUPPORT:


o Attend and actively participate in cross-functional project meetings. Provide distribution input into design, development and all other phases of the project.
o Act as primary distribution liaison for business partners while leveraging key field managers or reps to provide input and direction on key issues or to gather feedback on project related materials (e.g. training, communications, etc.)
o Provide the appropriate Distribution Business owner with ongoing status, issues and risks impacting distribution as well as the project overall. Prepare recommended resolutions to issues impacting distribution.


PROBLEM SOLVING:
 Ability to coordinate/partner with VP/SVP level? business partners from across the organization
 Ability to identify issues? quickly and facilitate a cross functional team to resolution, with transparency, diplomacy and consistency
 Ability to frame issues, leverage strategic priorities and drive the team towards a common view of the best path forward


 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree, MBA preferred. Extensive experience in the financial services industry, focus on retail financial services preferred.

Skills/Knowledge

o Excellent project management skills, excellent facilitation and influencing skills, solid analytical capabilities.
o Advanced communication skills, ability to present/communicate to senior team.
o Ability to manage effectively in fast paced, high pressure/high visibility position.
