Director Research Analyst

Leads & manages research activities, setting the research strategy & translating research content into products of value to constituents*Has capability to productize research based on segmented market needs*Directs a Benchmarking Forum-a group of Fortune 1000 organizations interested in measuring the impact of learning, volunteer groups, sponsored studies,& online benchmarking srvcs* Must have credibility in presenting research results to internal & external audiences*Will find sponsors, develop & implement research projects*Will analyze data & write reports, articles, & grant proposals*Will manage a research staff & relationships with multiple constituents*Speak to the industry as an executive leader, lead business efforts related to research & ensuring the integrity of our research projects*Requires a minimum of a Masters degree in Psych, HRD, Educ, OD, Econ, or related field*Must be a thought leader who can establish the organizations agenda while also handling operational aspects of the role*Requires 8+ years exp. in Social Science Research & Analysis with an emphasis on learning & performance*Must have in-depth experience with Social Science survey design, online data collection, & analysis*Must have working knowledge of substantive issues in workplace learning & performance, & ability to develop & manage relationships internally and externally*Requires strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to present to both small & large groups*Qualified persons would be people in what is called the field of workplace learning & performance, you might call it training*The right person will have a balance of academia, executive communication skills, hard research experience, & knowledge of the learning industry*Travel may be required 8 times a year.
