Director, Sales

Job Description: Disney Consumer Products- Bentonville, AR.

General Responsibilities:
Attain the fiscal year revenue and profitability goals. Provide total customer management for softlines business strategic direction. Develop account and channel differentiated distribution plans, Softlines account seasonal business plans and budget. Build and strengthen Disney account and licensee relationships. Present high quality retail presentations that incorporate both Disney and licensees. Work with Marketing, (Product) Category Business Directors, Licensee (Sales and Product areas). Initiate in-store promotional programs with marketing. Involved with both internal and external key decision makers. Act as an ambassador for the brand drives brand management. Leverage Direct-To-Retail business smodel where appropriate. Integrate with and communicate with all DCP, LOB's.

Specific to Wal-Mart: Grow WM softlines revenue and profitability. Expand and Grow the softlines Wal-Mart business with focus in U.S.. Assist with account strategies as it relates to softlines US strategies. Grow all consumer segments and category business (includes footwear) in conjunction with CBD and Licensee's. Plan and execute in-store promotions and overall retail theatre in order to energize the Disney brand. Build relationships with all levels within Wal-Mart. Develop actionable account plans with clear-cut market share goals. Continue to gain involvement with Retail Link analysis and any IT strategies that helps drive brand objectives. Integrate with Burbank soft lines and corporate WM teams. Manage Bentonville softlines personnel.

Candidates must have demonstrated sales leadership skills. Must be able to build strong relationships with category teams as equal partners in the business around business plans, new ideas and category initiatives. Candidates should have both Disney and Wal-Mart organizational awareness along with excellent communication skills, ensuring timely and consistent communication with both Wal-Mart and Disney teams. Should have excellent strategic planning and business analysis skills.

Must be a problem solving executive, flexible, self assured, willing to take risks and able to handle stress.
