Director of Broadcast Business Affairs Job Description
Fallon Minneapolis is looking for a Director of Broadcast Business Affairs. This person manages and leads the Business Affairs Department to ensure that all broadcast work is legally sound and delivered to air on time. The position requires the ability to accurately estimate/control broadcast production costs and manage budgets effectively. In addition, this person is qualified in the workings of talent/music/licensed property contracts and proper negotiations to achieve cost effective fees for our clients.
A qualified candidate will have a solid track record in production, new media and talent related issues with an understanding of current industry practices. This person also has the ability to educate/update the agency/client on legal, network clearance and talent issues.
This person reports to the Director of Broadcast Production and supervises Business Affairs Managers, Talent Payment Administrators, and Broadcast Traffic Managers and is responsible for performance reviews and career development for Business Affairs department.
